If you, or someone you know is interested in joining the NCDBA, the NCDBA needs your support and the NCDBA will support you! There are several types of memberships that you can apply for. Membership is divided between voting members and non-voting members. Voting members are active, associate, honorary, and lifetime. Friends of NCDBA and organizational members are non-voting.
- Active member: Any Deaf-Blind individual who is a resident of North Carolina.
- Associate member: Any individual who is not Deaf-Blind and who has an active interest in supporting the purposes and activities of NCDBA and who is a resident of North Carolina.
- Honorary member: Any individual who has made significant contributions to NCDBA and the Deaf-Blind community and who is a resident of North Carolina. The Honorary membership may be conferred by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors.
- Lifetime member: Any Active or Associate member who pays a lifetime membership due as set by the general membership.
- Friends of NCDBA: Any individual who supports the mission and activities of NCDBA.
- Organizational membership: This includes any business, enterprise,
